Basketball fans and community members alike will gather at The Forks for Summer Slam 2025, a three-day celebration of 3x3 basketball, live entertainment, and local culture.
At the heart of the event is the 3x3 U23 Canada Hoops Manitoba Qualifier, where top men's and women's teams will battle for a chance to represent the province at the national finals in Toronto — with flights, accommodations, and a shot at $8,000 in prize money up for grabs.
The weekend also features a community 3x3 tournament open to players of all levels, including 19+ open, wheelchair, youth (ages 11-18), and 35+ masters divisions. Additionally, the popular 1v1 Continuous Tournament returns with age-specific brackets for boys aged 11 to 18 and men 18+ (details at 1v1continuous.com).
Beyond the court, attendees can enjoy high-energy dunk and shoot-out contests, live DJ sets, and an opening ceremony to kick off the festivities.
